Privacy Policy
Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information Fleetora ("Fleetora", "we", "us") collects through the Fleetora app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have. Fleetora helps fleet owners and managers keep track of vehicles, drivers and payments. By using Fleetora, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
Information we collect
We collect the information needed to run your fleet inside the app:
- Account information — your name, email address, phone number and password when you register.
- Fleet data you add — vehicle details (make, model, plate number, VIN, mileage), driver details (name, phone number), and payment records (amounts, dates, status).
- Device and usage information — device type, operating system, app version, and how you interact with the app, collected automatically to keep the app working reliably.
- Support communications — anything you send us when you contact support.
Fleetora records payment status as reported by fleet owners and drivers. Fleetora does not process, move or hold money on your behalf — see the Payment Tracking section of our Terms & Conditions.
How we use this information
- To create and maintain your account and fleet records
- To show you dashboards, payment summaries and driver information inside the app
- To send account-related notifications, such as payment confirmations
- To respond to support requests
- To maintain the security and reliability of the app
- To meet legal and accounting obligations, such as retaining financial records
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these situations:
- Service providers — companies that help us run Fleetora, such as cloud hosting and analytics providers, under agreements that limit how they can use your data.
- Within your fleet — driver contact details you add are visible to you as the fleet owner or manager, since that's the purpose of the app.
- Legal reasons — if required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request.
- Business transfers — if Fleetora is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that deal.
Data retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. Payment and financial records may be retained for a longer period after account deletion to meet accounting and legal obligations, typically up to seven years, after which they are deleted or anonymized. See our Delete Account page for details on what happens when you delete your account.
Data security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and respond quickly to any issue.
Your rights and choices
- Access and correction — you can review and update your account and fleet information directly in the app.
- Deletion — you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. See Delete Account for how.
- Communications — you can opt out of non-essential notifications in the app's settings.
Children's privacy
Fleetora is intended for fleet owners, managers and drivers who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
